The hoops range from 4ft to 2ft in diameter, they were formed using a nailed outline. All the hoops used are hung together using cotton tape to aline them. The hoops are then attached to a waist guarder that allows the wearer to easily put on the hoops and know that it is secure. This attachment allows for hands free movement and a nice swaying motion when moved.
The dress that made with the hoop shirt, is made of a larger dress that was modified to fit the width of the hoop shirt. The sides have pockets with snaps that allow the wearer to carry other objects.
